Just like One Republic or Train, you can always count on Irish band The Script to deliver solid and decent popsongs, without them ever being a true hit. Which is a shame really, because they're so damn talented! Case in point : their latest single "Superheroes", a great and catchy radiofriendly pop record with an überrelatable theme: taking all the pain you have inside and make it your strength instead of a weakness. Much like Katy Perry's "Firework", it's an anthem claiming that yes, you are good enough! The video for the song was recorded during an impromptu live performance in the slums of Johannesburg, South Africa. A great reference to the songtitle, because even though these people in the townships have nothing, they're still happier than most of us. They are the true superheroes.
