Next to being known for her bold fashion choices as of late, Rita Ora also has some serious pipes on her! She's currently smashing the charts next to Iggy Azalea on "Black Widow", but she's just as flawsome on her own. So the next logical step is to be part of a full length movie soundtrack and that's exactly what she did. "Grateful" is featured on the score of "Beyond The Lights", a film about a young Billboard Award winning artist that crumbles under the pressure of imminent stardom. She tries to kill herself, but is saved by a cop with equally great ambitions, but in politics. Ooh, juicy! Listen to the stunning powerballad below. |

2014 is definitely going to be Iggy Azalea's year! The release of her first album "The New Classic", has already been pushed back a couple of times, but now rumour has it the record will come out pretty soon. It better, because I'm dying to hear what it sounds like, since Iggy has been quite innovative on the female rapper front. But of course, there are always some party poopers that leak the album online before it's actual release. That's how this new track "Black Widow" featuring Rita Ora has found it's way online. It's not bad (I still like "Fancy" better, though), but I can't help but feel like this song sounds a lot like Katy Perry's "Dark Horse", with the trap beat and the chorus that never really comes to a climax. And after some research, it turns out the song actually was written by Miz Perry herself, so no wonder the two sound so similar! What do you guys think? Give it a listen below. A new week means lots of new music and performances! The internet is blowing up with some interesting musical goodies and I have them all lined up for you! I'll start with a track I found online at the end of last week, but I didn't have any time to post it. DJ Cassidy might not ring a bell, but this DJ is a real up and coming artist with a bright future. His previous single "Calling All Hearts" featuring Robin Thicke and Jessie J, was an instant earworm and so is his next single! But this time Cassidy collaborated with my fave "Trapped In The Closet" artist : R. Kelly. Listen to this funky new track "Make The World Go Round" below. Next, let's take a big leap from disco funk to dance pop.
