Holy moly, my blogposts are filled with premieres today! I already showed you the exclusive for Olly Murs' new single, and now I also have Avicii's latest track "The Days" up for grabs! In terms of vocals, the Swede had a little help from former Take That heartthrob Robbie Williams and to my surprise, his voice actually suits this EDM genre. The track starts off with an acoustic guitar melody, but once Robbie's voice comes in, the song transforms back into a typical Avicii synthpop anthem. "The Days" is the lead single of Avicii's sophomore record "Stories", which apparently features even more collabs by the likes of Jon Bon Jovi, Wyclef Jean and Green Day's Billie Joe Armstrong. Watch even more music videos from Shakira, Avicii and Sam Smith after the jump!
Now that all the April Fools craziness has come and gone, I have two new music posts lined up for you today. I separated them, since they all kind of fit in a different category. Take this beautiful new song by Christina Perri and Ed Sheeran, for example. We haven't heard much from her since the success of "Jar Of Hearts" and The Twilight soundtrack "A Thousand Years", So I was anxiously waiting to see if she would pop back up again. Then I came across this new song of hers "Be My Forever" featuring Ed Sheeran, everyone's fave British Ginger. I was surprised to find a new happy and upbeat type of sound, not something we're used to hearing from both Perri nor Sheeran. Their voices go really well together and this track is definitely an instant happy-maker. Listen below! As much as I love Christina Perri though, I'd rather build a Lego House with Ed Sheeran when he comes to Belgium on November 4th!
