Pharrell Williams is one big champion when it comes to making wacky and coocky music videos. Just read my previous post on his "It Girl" video and you'll catch my drift :p Today, he has finally dropped the clip for Daft Punk assisted single "Gust Of Wind". And to stay true to its title, the visual is set in a forest that's beginning to show the first signs of fall. P is surrounded by female dancers acting all "Crouching Tiger, Hidden Dragon"-like. There are even two giant Daft Punk rocks coming to life! But the true question is: what is up with those weird safety pin thingies on Pharrell's sweater, for God's sake? Watch the clip below. |

As if Pharrell wasn't Happy enough already, he is now encouraging us to "Smile" even more! This latest track hitting the internet, was originally a Japanese bonustrack, but of course I managed to get my hands on the audio for you guys! Listen to the happy track below! But that's not all! Another one of Pharrell's tracks he produced for the Amazing Spiderman 2 soundtrack, has hit the web as well. "That's My Man", sung by LIZ, is a funky track about how hard the life of a true superhero really is. Not that hard apparently :) But the song itself is supergroovy and enjoyable. Take a listen below.
Speaking of Marilyn Monroe, there's another artist that made a single about the famous sex symbol. Meet Alexa Goddard!
When I mentioned in previous posts that Pharrell Williams was EVERYWHERE, I clearly wasn't kidding! This guy is giving a whole new meaning to working overtime, that it's starting to get a little ridiculous! Anywho, another one of his tracks for the Amazing Spiderman 2 soundtrack has surfaced online and it's quite the breath of fresh air, comparing to what we're normally used to hearing from Skateboard P. Unlike the funky "It's On Again", that he produced for Alicia Keys, this one is a full on rock ballad! So don't expect any funky disco-like rhythms, because there simply aren't any! And I kinda like it! The song's lyrics are amazing and the melody is quite simple and toned down, but beautiful. Which proves a song doesn't need all those bells and whistles to capture someone's attention. It sure captured mine! Listen to Pharrell's rock ballad "Here" below. And if this didn't get you through your daily dose of Pharrell Williams, this next video definitely will!
I posted the audio to Alicia Keys' "It's On Again" just last week, but girl is not wasting any time! She just tweeted out the link to the official video and I have it right here! In the clip, we see Alicia (and her mullet, eeew :S) crooning in a deserted warehouse, where she's being watched by none other than Pharrell. Yes, him again! There's also some amazing footage of the film itself and it looks awesome! Sigh, and Andrew Garfield just looks to darn good in his Spiderman suit. That Emma Stone is one lucky girl. Watch the funky clip below! |
