Macklemore & Ryan Lewis' "The Heist" was one of the most successful albums of 2013 and since "Same Love" was the last single we got to hear from them, I'm very anxious to spot some new music by the hiphop super duo. But luckily, the music Gods have already answered my prayers, since Seattle indie rockers Fences dropped a new single online that features our favourite thriftshoppers. You might think that indie and hiphop don't blend so well together, but the Fences' frontman and Macklemore are actually really good friends so this collab is not as weird as it seems at first. "Arrows" is a fun, whimsical song with a pounding drum that will undoubtedly smash the charts. UPDATE : I've now added the music video too, going all out with the kitch/campy theme. The clip goes from lumberjack to creepy stalker guy to a circus and so much more. A pretty weird video, but somehow I understand where they're coming from. You'll just have to watch for yourself :) |
