Do you remember the time when we were all catching fireflies and enjoying Owl City's weird lyrics combined with quirky bleeps and blops? Of course you do! :p And after his latest venture with Carly Rae Jepsen, Owl City aka Adam Young is back with new material. The plan is to release several short EP's instead of one whole record. The first EP is called "Ultraviolet" and features the first single "Beautiful Times" with the awesome violinist Lindsey Stirling. The second single "Up All Night" has been out since yesterday. They're both standard Owl City stuff, with lyrics that absolutely not make any sense and some fun pop electro beats. "Beautiful Times" is a great song, but I feel like "Up All Night" is going to do way better in the charts and might be a follow up hit to "Fireflies". What do you guys think? Watch both videos below and let me know in the comment section. |
