Due to some technical issues with the blog I haven't been posting much lately. Don't worry, I'm working hard at getting all the bugs out, but it's quite time consuming to get everything to work the way I want it to :) Either way, that's why I forgot to post this week's Throwback Thursday yesterday. No worries, I'm still giving it to you guys right now, because this week's post is a rather special one. It's not so much about one song in particular, but more like a look back on a whole album. I'm talking about "Born To Do It" by Craig David. In 2000, he skyrocketed to the top of the charts with this record and he really had an important influence on pop and R&B at the time. There are so many hits on this album, like "7 Days", "Walking Away", "Fill Me In" and of course his breakout hit with Artful Dodger "Rewind". I have always loved Craig David's sounds and the record still remains a solid musical piece even after 14 years! The production and melodies are great smooth R&B and his vocals are always on point! And since I couldn't pick any song in particular, I just posted my 4 favourite ones. Watch and enjoy below. |
