I can't believe it's already Throwback Thursday again. Weeks go by so fast lately! And this weeks blast from the past is a goody, I can tell you that! Let me take you all the way back to 2003, the year that marked the start of one of my favourite shows ever in TV history: One Tree Hill. Yes, I know it might sound corny, but this is one of my favourite teen soaps of all time! Obviously, the crazy story lines were never going to happen in real life, but I just loved watching the lives of Lucas and Nathan unfold in the lovely town of Tree Hill. That's why this weeks pick is the song that played throughout the credits of the show: "I Don't Wanna Be" by Gavin DeGraw. It's a great inspirational song about being yourself and not giving in to the pressure of those around you. In the music video, Gavin looks so young and cute with the odd clothes combo, the beanie and the hair :p The track itself is such an anthem and I'm still loving it, even 10 years after its release. It's just a song that never grows old! So reminisce with me to the days they actually made good shows on tv. Watch the music video below. |
