After a brief break, Maroon 5 is back with new music! And just like Adam Levine's fresh head of blonde hair, they have a brand spanking new sound to go with it. Their fifth record "V" will drop in Sepember, and the first single "Maps" marks this triumphant return for the boys. The first minute really sounds like Sting on Helium, with Adam Levine's high pitched voice over a beat that's reminscent of "Message In A Bottle" by The Police. In the chorus and bridge, you can clearly tell that Ryan Tedder had a hand in producing the track. This first single is not a true showstopper, but will definitely score big on the charts.
