So, due to a holiday in Belgium I took a day off yesterday, plus I had a concert to go to, so that's why there weren't any posts up yesterday. But don't worry, I'll make it up to you. :) I have a couple of novelties I'd like to share so brace yourselves for one hell of a ride! First off, do you guys remembert that awfully annoying, but yet extremely catchy "Mr. Saxobeat" song by Alexandra Stan? Well, turns out the Romanian singer is back and her latest single is even worse than the previous one :p "Cherry Pop" is best described as typical Eurotrash house, and I have to admit: it's sort of catchy but at the same time totally and utterly ridiculous! (just watch the music video below and you'll know what I mean :p) I've never been an Alexandra Stan fan and after seeing this monstrosity, I'm sure I'll never will be! How about you guys? Is this ball in or out? Watch the music video below and let me know in the comment section. |
And speaking of weird videos : Will.I.Am sure knows how to make one! The Black Eyed Peas videos were already legendary but his new video for "It's My Birthday" is totally bonkers! While Katy Perry dresses up and scares the shit out of people for her Birthday, Will just hires some famous Vine and Youtube stars to create this highlarious video. It's totally nuts: one minute Will is dressed as a priest, the other he's taking a selfie while a woman is giving birth...to a baby that looks just like him! And that's not even the weirdest part. You have been warned! Watch the video below. |
And last but not least, remember when I mentioned last month that the boyband O-Town (famous for their song about wet dreams) was making a comeback? Well, the comeback we've all been waiting for is finally here! "Skydive" is their first single in 11 years and will be featured on their new album "Lines & Circles" (out on August 3d). And instead of taking the dance/EDM route, they decided to go with a solid, piano-driven pop ballad. Excellent choice, because it shows off their voices and proves they're not some boyband from the past. This type of sound gives them a lot of credibility. It definitely gets a thumbs up from me! Listen to the song below. |
