But lo and behold, Flo actually released an orinigal song this time! It's part of the "Neighbors" movie soundtrack, coming out real soon. So sampling probably wasn't an option here :)
Either way, the track follows Flo's usual formula: 3 minutes filled with generic EDM beats, pretty lame lyrics and a female voice moaning from time to time in the background!
Ugh, I'm in desperate need of some earplugs for this one.
Listen below!
And it's the classic Michael we all know and love. The song really reminds me of "Blood Is on The Dancefloor", with the regular percussion beat in the background and his signature grunts and moans.
BUT, as much as I love Michael, I honestly feel like people should just leave the dead alone. His label can release as many albums as they like, but they will never top the period when he was at his best. Meaning all of the 80's en 90's. And releasing all these new songs kind of ruin the experience for me.
I'd rather listen to albums like "Off The Wall", "Thriller" or "Dangerous", that are full of hits, than have to digest these new songs that are quite mediocre and don't really stand out.
How do you guys feel about this? Let me know in the comment section.
Meanwhile listen to "XScape" below.
Update : various sources on the internet are reporting that the track is just an old leaked demo, recorded for het 2001 album "Invincible" and that it will NOT be on the new record.
