Oh my, I've had a some minor lay-out problems with the blog yesterday, so while I was working out the kinks I obviously didn't have the time to keep you guys up to speed. But, I made good use of my evening last night, by gathering all the goodies and posting them right now! This post is mostly about new videos that came out yesterday, and boy are they pretty! First up is Swedish-American singer Mapei. I had already tipped her in my Pop-Up Artist category and now she has released the official lyric video for her track "Change". The video is basically an ode to The Big Apple, better known as New York City. We see all types of people, from all walks of life holding up the lyrics to the song. Because, don't we all want the same thing : change? Watch the lyric video below. |
I was first introduced to Florrie a couple of years ago, when I was casually strolling through the local H&M shop, you know, just minding my own business. And while I was shopping for the latest trends, I suddenly heard this awesome track pump through the speakers. All the way home, I kept wondering who this amazing singer was! Turned out it was Florrie's "Call 911" in the Fred Falke remix. I've been a fan ever since then and now the UK pop starlet is FINALLY making her big label debut with "Little White Lies". The track is some extremely catchy electropoprock that does not disappoint. The accompanying video features Florrie sitting in the middle of a field doing what she does best : drumming like there's no tomorrow! Ow, and recycling is very important too, as plastic bags are drifting through the wind, wanting to start again. (see what I did there? :p) Once again, a great track from Florrie, who has evolved so much musically over the years! Watch the video below. |
Just like Florrie, Colbie Caillat is one gorgeous mamacita! And in her new video for "Try", Colbie proves everyone is a natural beauty in his/her own way, by stripping off all of her make-up. This video is so touching: it shows that people are even more beautiful on the inside than out, all you need to do is look a little deeper. No ponytails or wigs, no beauty products whatsoever, but only their radiant smiles : that's what makes a powerful visual right there! Watch the music video below. |
