I don't know what it is lately, but simplistic music videos seem to be all the rage as of late! Yesterday I posted Calvin Harris' new video featuring only Rihanna, a box and a shitload of strobelights. Today, r&b superstar Usher is even taking it to the next level.
If there's one thing we all know Usher's good at, it's dancing. Whether it be introcate choreography or just plain freestyling, he definitely knows his way around the dancefloor.
For his new single "Crash", we get to see a side of Usher I had never seen before. In the sober clip, it's just him and a gorgeous half naked lady looking down on him from this huge big screen. The video is captivating in its simplicity : Usher's dancing alright, but a much more modern type of choreography instead of just generic hip hop. The woman in the background is a nice touch as well, specifically in the shot where she seems to pick him up/support him with her hand as he bends back.
All in all, beautifully done and full of emotion. You can watch the clip below.
